Corporate Purpose
The main purpose of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine is to be among the leading, leading and preferred medical faculties of our country and the world in the fields of medical education, health care and scientific research.
Our goal has four components:
1. Institutional Culture and Structure: To provide a responsible, reliable, accountable to nature and humanity, free, peaceful and continuous academic environment for all its components; To offer a contemporary educational environment that facilitates learning at undergraduate and graduate levels in all branches of medicine.
2. Education: Adopting lifelong learning as a principle, open to evidence-based knowledge and innovation, committed to universal ethical values, adopting teamwork, respecting the rights of patients and healthcare professionals, understanding and preventing the priority health problems of the society, producing solutions, leading the development of health at all levels. To train “good doctors”.
3. Health Care: To be a leading health institution that sets standards in all fields of medicine, is referenced and offers solutions.
4. Scientific Research: To enable the interaction and cooperation of scientific disciplines at institutional, national and international level; To provide the necessary opportunities at the highest level to conduct problem-solving, groundbreaking basic, clinical and community-based research.
Mission
To train students as investigative and productive physicians who have the highest level of knowledge, skills and awareness of responsibility required by professional competence, adhere to universal ethical values, respect human dignity, open to lifelong development, and set an example for the society in the social and intellectual field.
To provide health services at high quality standards and to produce solutions for the health problems of the society.
To plan, conduct and support scientific research that will contribute to the ever-expanding knowledge universe in areas related to human health.
