Baby Friendly Hospital
The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BDHG) was launched in 1991 by the Ministry of Health and UNICEF. BDHG, a global initiative, allows every baby born in the hospital to have the healthiest start to life by being fed with breast milk.

Baby Friendly Hospitals follow the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding guidelines that encourage breastfeeding and newborn care.
