Istanbul Aydın University was established by the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) to train qualified manpower sought nationally and internationally. Established as Anadolu BİL Vocational School in 2002, directly affiliated to the Council of Higher Education, it is the first foundation vocational school in Turkey. Having completed its establishment in 2006, Istanbul Aydın University has taken its present place with 13 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools, 3 Vocational Schools and graduate education programs.
